HIGH COMMISSIONER FOR HUMAN RIGHTS

"Kill the indian in the child"

Between 1831 to 1996, the canadian government ran alongside the dominant Cristhian Churches over 130 residential boarding schools for natives across the country. More than 150000 children were taken and forced to attend the schools. During the functioning of the system several children were physically and psychologically injured. But it wasn't until 1986 that most residential schools were closed, and only in 1996 that the last one finally close its doors.

In May 2021, were found over 215 indigenous children's remains at the Kamloop Indian Residential School, and the question about what happened started to rise. Since the Catholic Church has never released the records related to residential schools, the questions remain unanswered.

From that day onwards the searches for other children's remains, and since then was already found almost 1000 bodies.

Aboriginal peoples demand recognition from tye Catholic Church and a formal apology. The Catholic Church and Pope Francisco do not wish to pronounce.

Every day the rage and intolerance grows among Canadians and its time for a intervention. So now it's up to you delegates, to decide the course of these events.
